Animals
Released: January 1977
This is one of my all time fave Floyd Albums. It is one of those that you listen from start to end non stop and you never get bored of. The cover features the London Battersea Power Station AND a flying pig. This building has become a great tourist attraction for Floyd fans just the same as the Abbey Road zebra cross is for Beatles fans. By the way, Battersea is now being developed by Warner Brothers to become the biggest cinema complex in the world.
Animals have reached number TWO in both the US and UK charts. The album has the absolutely amazing 'DOGS' song and the equally good 'PIGS (Three Different Ones)'.
